Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, the University of Maryland School of Public Health and the Maryland State Dental Association Foundation jointly hosted The Mid-Maryland Mission of Mercy, a free dental clinic for uninsured adults in the University of Maryland's Xfinity Center on Sept. 13 and 14. The free clinic served more than 1,000 patients in need, who were helped by 500 dental and medical professionals who volunteered their services.
