Motorcyclists collect toys, money for medicine for needy children
Renegade Classics of Southern Maryland, a motorcycle outfit and supply store in Prince Frederick, organized a toy run last month to assist more than 200 needy children served by Catholic Charities. They collected enough money not only to provide toys, but also to provide medicine for some of the sick children. Above left, a member of a local motorcycle club who participated in the event looks at a toy one of the children received. Above right, Santa, as portrayed by Steve Thorne, leads some of the more than 100 motorcyclists who rode in procession to deliver the toys.
