The summer camp, sponsored by the Society of the Divine Savior, provides a range of activities for children in a religious and educational environment that promotes respect for God's creation. In the photo below from 2007, Matt Cullinane of Bethesda takes aim at the archery range at Camp St. Charles. Located in southern Maryland, the summer camp welcomes children ages 7 to 15. The camp was established in 1952 by the members of the Society of the Divine Savior, better known as Salvatorian priests and brothers.
